OASIS Mental Health Support is an independent charity governed by a Board of Trustee which includes people with mental health lived experience.

We have been providing services in Solihull Borough since 1984 (originally as Solihull Mind), expanding from a single drop-in support service to providing a wide range of practical and therapeutic support services available from our main building in Solihull and at our horticulture/conservation project in Knowle.

Our current services include Counselling; Crisis Support (out of hours); social support and activities; practical help with benefits, housing, finance/debt (we are FCA registered) and other advocacy issues; together with the horticulture/conservation project which also provides healthy living/sport, crafts and woodworking.

The RCN Foundation is an independent charity whose purpose is to support and strengthen nursing and midwifery to improve the health and wellbeing of the public. It is there for every current and former nurse, midwife, and health care support worker, as well as students and nursing associates.

The Foundation supports individual members of the nursing and midwifery teams by providing grants to those who are facing hardship, or who want to enhance their skills and develop their practice; it invests in the professions by funding nursing and midwifery-led projects; and it champions nursing and midwifery by supporting projects that raise the profile of the profession and highlight the contribution that nursing and midwifery makes to improving the nation’s health.  You do not have to be a member of the RCN to receive our support.
