We are delighted to present our 20 nursing professionals who will be representing Nursing Live 2026, supporting us to promote the event across the UK.

Nicola is a multi-award-winning nurse with experience in general nursing and maternity services, known for compassionate leadership and positive role modelling. Nicola is currently working as Post-Pregnancy Contraception Lead in Bristol, leading an exciting women’s health initiative focused on proactive, opportunistic access to care rather than reactive responses. She is passionate about women’s health and providing excellent nursing care. Nicola also enjoys reading, learning new things, and spending time with her dog. She recently reconnected with her faith, which inspires and guides her nursing practice and leadership.
Diana Amassah
Junior sister, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust

Diana is a junior sister at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. She has worked on Willow ward for the past ten years as a vascular and surgical nurse, supporting staff with sickness management and students on placement. She is approachable, keen to help and known for her infectious smile! A Daisy award honouree, Diana is passionate about supporting colleagues’ well-being and celebrating their achievements. She has embraced the pathway to excellence programme in Northampton General Hospital and always supports the shared decision council on her ward. She looks forward to promoting the Nursing Live event and connect with the vast nursing community.

Stephy is a Pathway to Excellence® Facilitator Nurse at University Hospitals of Leicester, where she supports nursing excellence and professional growth. Passionate about empowering colleagues, Stephy actively supports internationally educated nurses. As a first-time Nursing Live ambassador, she’s excited to promote the event and connect with the wider nursing community. Known for her vibrant energy, Stephy balances her professional dedication with a love for adrenaline-filled adventures and celebrating nursing achievements.
Rachel Melton
Deputy associate director all age continuing healthcare and individual patient activity, Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board

Rachel is a Deputy Associate Director for All Age Continuing Care and Individual Patient Activity at Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. With a background in mental health nursing, she has worked across acute care, secure services, criminal justice, and community teams. Rachel has also led award-winning care homes and progressed through CHC leadership roles. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care across CHC, PHBs, mental health, learning disabilities, and autism—driving service improvements and championing choice, empowerment, and better outcomes.

Amanda is Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. A Registered Adult Nurse and Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, she is passionate about leveraging digital solutions to transform healthcare, reduce inequalities, and improve outcomes. Amanda's career is defined by fostering innovation, addressing digital exclusion, and empowering colleagues and communities. She earned the title of Queen's Nurse, a testament to her leadership and dedication to community patient care and nursing excellence.

Helen is a senior lecturer at Birmingham City University and has a background in paediatric haematology and oncology. Most recently, she was a finalist for ‘Educator of the Year’ at the Student Nursing Times Awards. Helen is co-founder of the community of practice, Nurse Academics UK, providing a shared space for connection and collaboration. Helen is passionate about promoting equality for people with hidden disabilities through her lived experience.

She is especially enthusiastic about all things research, and thrives on creating a positive, empowered environment where nurses can grow, flourish, and deliver outstanding patient care every day.

Naomi is a Clinical General Practice Nurse Manager based across two sites within the Bradford area. She also works with the Primary Care and Workforce Training Hub as a Clinical Lead for the past 5 years. She has been in her current post for two and a half years;she is an advocate for nurses wanting to transition into Primary Care and ensuring they have the mentorship and support they require to continue to provide a high-quality standard of care.

Jacob is a registered nurse, now in his tenth year of nursing and loves it! From working on wards and in theatres he has reached his career goal of being a clinical educator at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. He has a particular interest in orthopaedics and general surgery but also has a background in haematology. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his kids and wife and keeping fit, along with a passion for cinema.

She serves as an RCN Student Ambassador and has held roles with Plan International, Anthony Nolan, and Unison. Her passion lies in empowering people, celebrating diversity, supporting colleagues and building meaningful connections that strengthen communities. Asfar is a third-year adult nursing student at the University of Huddersfield. Alongside his studies, he works as a healthcare assistant and has gained extensive clinical experience across 15 hospitals in nine NHS trusts across Yorkshire and Greater Manchester, spanning more than 40 specialties. This experience has strengthened his adaptability, resilience and commitment to compassionate, person-centred care, while also deepening his passion for nursing and his desire to inspire and support future nurses.

Abdelrahman is an Emergency Care Assessment Practitioner (ECAP) at Walsall Manor Hospital and a proud overseas nurse from Egypt. With a strong background in A&E, ICU, and urgent care, he holds a BSc in Nursing and advanced certifications and PG studies including ACLS, PALS, Advanced health assessment and TNCC. He is passionate about patient safety, digital innovation, and leadership, and he is dedicated to inspiring and supporting fellow overseas nurses in their journey to settle, thrive, and lead successful careers in the UK healthcare system.

Olga is a Nurse WRES Advisor in Birmingham and Solihull, dedicated to championing fairness, inclusion, and opportunities for the global majority in the NHS. As a proud West Midlands RCN Council Member, she’s deeply passionate about mentoring others, tackling inequality, and creating spaces where everyone feels seen and valued. Whether leading anti-racism work or hosting monthly community health sessions, Olga brings heart, purpose and lived experience to everything she does. Her faith keeps her grounded.

Cindy is a third-year learning disability nursing student based in London, committed to providing compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, inclusion and independence. Having recently completed her management placement, she has developed leadership, communication and team-working skills while gaining valuable experience in coordinating safe, effective care. She is passionate about advocating for people with learning disabilities, reducing health inequalities, and supporting individuals to achieve the best possible quality of life through holistic, evidence-based nursing practice.

As a dedicated nurse teacher at a college, Emma is passionate about education and empowering the new generation of nurses. Outside the classroom, she loves staying active on the netball court and getting lost in a good book. However, Emma's absolute favourite downtime is spent with family and her dog, especially her beloved bulldog, George. Balancing a rewarding career with these vibrant hobbies keeps Emma motivated to inspire, guide and support nursing students.
