Terina Scheeres
Associate Director, member relations, Royal College of Nursing
Terina Scheeres is Associate Director of Member Relations at the Royal College of Nursing, where she leads the RCND Advice Centre, Member Support Services, and UK Case Management. Her remit includes oversight of second-line services such as immigration, welfare, counselling, careers, and peer support, as well as strategic leadership of the Member Experience & Journey Strategy Board (MEJSB), which ensures high-quality, cost-effective support for RCN members.
Terina has been instrumental in transforming the College’s visibility and response to Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs), aligning policy, operations, and member engagement to create a more inclusive and coherent organisational approach.
A passionate advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), Terina leads efforts to embed EDI into casework, staff development, and service delivery. She focuses on redesigning member journeys to remove barriers for RCN’s diverse members. Her data-led approach ensures accountability, transparency, and measurable impact.
At Nursing Live, Terina is proud to serve as a Networking Ambassador for the International Educating Nurses session, supporting global collaboration and shared learning across the profession.
