Temi Odeyemi is a senior nursing professional who has considerable experience in the area of substance misuse, in prison healthcare, in social care and in integrated healthcare systems. At Change Grow Live she is currently acting as Cluster Lead Nurse and is responsible for offering strategic and clinical leadership in a number of services, with the aim of improving quality, developing the workforce, and ensuring that person-centred care is given to people who have complex health and social needs.

Temi has built up experience in the areas of substance misuse treatment, health inequalities, and the integration of health and social care services through a career that has included work in frontline practice, operational leadership, and system-wide transformation. In her former position as Prison Healthcare and Social Care Lead, they were responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams, improving care pathways, and promoting innovative methods of supporting vulnerable groups within the criminal justice system.

Because of her strong desire to reduce the barriers to accessing healthcare and to improve the outcomes for people who suffer from addiction, trauma, and social exclusion, Temi has initiated projects aimed at redesigning services in such a way as to enhance cooperation among healthcare providers, local authorities, and community organisations. She is committed to creating services that are inclusive and compassionate, with a focus on the lived experiences of individuals, their recovery, and empowering patients.

Throughout her career, Temi has consistently supported nursing leadership, the development of the nursing workforce, and evidence-based practice. She is especially interested in how clinical leadership can affect system transformation, enhance service integration, and tackle health inequalities at both the local and national levels.
