Spiwe (pronounced Spee-way) is a passionate Clinical Manager within an Integrated Care Board (ICB), Founder and Director of Joshana Freelance Consultancy Ltd, and a respected trainer with over 22 years’ nursing experience. A proud mother of two teenagers, she is known for her commitment to excellence, professional growth, and creating supportive networks.

Spiwe, founder of the WhatsApp Continuing Health Care (CHC), now All Age Continuing Care (AACC) Assessors Platform, connecting more than 400 assessors across the UK. She is also the Co-Founder of the CHC/AACC Agency Nurses Network with Bose Adegbola — a community that promotes Continuing Professional Development, revalidation, and empowerment for agency nurses. The Network hosts two annual events, including the upcoming 7th Virtual Event on 25th October 2025.

After qualifying as a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse in 2002, Spiwe worked across private and NHS sectors as a part-time substantive in nursing roles including Community LD nurse, supporting adolescents to adults with mental health need and Registered Manager before pursuing her career as a full-time agency worker from 2017 in CHC. With over 15 years in CHC/AACC B7 CHC Nurse/leadership, Best Interests Assessor and training roles, she has navigated the system’s evolution from PCTs to CCGs and now ICBs, always championing person-centred care.

Guided by her motto, “ASPIRE to INSPIRE before you EXPIRE,” Spiwe continues to mentor and motivate colleagues through her networks and training, remaining a proud member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) throughout her career.
