Tembi Chinaire is a diabetes educator, certified nutrition adviser, and diabetes consultant nurse. She is part of a dedicated team that serves the multicultural population of Hammersmith & Fulham in North West London.
Tembi is passionate about preventing type 2 diabetes and reducing the risk of complications for those already living with diabetes. She is the author of “Type 2 Diabetes Navigation Guide: For everyone of African, South Asian and Middle Eastern Descent”.
Tembi has established and led diabetes services in both the public and private healthcare sectors. She has written and delivered tailored diabetes education programmes in the Middle East, Africa, and the UK.
She is a Florence Nightingale Travel Scholarship winner and is a current member of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Diabetes Guidelines Update Committee in England, UK.
