Sarah Measures
Complex and palliative lead practitioner, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust
Sarah Measures is the Complex and Palliative Lead Practitioner in the Community children’s Nursing Team for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. She has a MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.
Sarah has 35 years’ experience in Childrens nursing, working across primary and secondary care, specialising in paediatric renal and palliative care.
The past 10 years have been based in the community developing services for children with complex and palliative care needs, such as a 24/7 ‘on call’ palliative service.
Sarah is a member of Thames Valley regional clinical networks and education forums for paediatric palliative care. Recent achievements include developing shared clinical procedures across organisations and participation in research for this population group.
Sarah is passionate that all children and their families have a voice, are offered choice and excellent care which is well co-ordinated and safe in their setting.
