With 14 years of dedicated NHS service, Salu is a dedicated and proactive nursing professional committed to driving change and improving the quality of patient care. Salu began her career as a theatre scrub nurse in 2013, specialising in ophthalmology.

Beyond her clinical and leadership role, she is passionate about her role in BINA.Salu joined BINA in 2023 as Executive Regional Lead for West Midlands, where she support initiatives that empower, connect, and celebrate Indian nurses across the UK delivering pastoral support, interview prep and guidance outside her working hours.

With special interest in change management, quality improvement, and digital transformation, Salu embraced opportunities to lead service improvement projects, mentor junior staff, and champion evidence-based practice paving way to move into digital nursing roles where she successfully built a robust portfolio that ultimately led her to serve as the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer in Birmingham Hospital.

Her overarching goal is to inspire excellence, compassion, and innovation in nursing while ensuring that every nurse is supported to thrive in their roles and every patient receives the highest standard of care. Salu's journey has been shaped by a strong belief in continuous improvement, collaborative networking and commitment. She is also an active alumnus of the very popular Shuri Network and has been awarded Digital Health award by Zenith Global and Rising Star Award from APNA NHS in 2024.

Besides her professional life, she enjoys developing creative skills such as fashion design, dance and crafting which reflects continuous learning and self-expression.
