Paul Russell-Roberts is a Registered Nurse and Education Manager for Ostomy Care at Coloplast UK. With a clinical background in stoma care nursing and extensive experience supporting healthcare professionals across the UK, he leads the development of educational programmes designed to advance specialist practice and improve outcomes for people living with a stoma.

Paul also serves as the Education Officer for the Association of Stoma Care Nurses UK (ASCN UK), supporting the development of educational resources, professional standards and learning opportunities for stoma care nurses nationwide.

He works closely with stoma care nurses, multidisciplinary teams, professional bodies and clinical experts to create evidence based learning opportunities that support both clinical decision making and service development. His work focuses on translating research, guidance and real-world clinical experience into practical education that can be applied in everyday practice.

A particular area of interest is demonstrating the value and impact of specialist nursing through meaningful data, patient outcomes and quality improvement. Paul is passionate about helping nurses use evidence and measurement to articulate the difference their services make to patients, organisations and the wider healthcare system.

Through his role at Coloplast Professional and his work with ASCN UK, he supports the development of innovative educational initiatives, clinical resources and professional development opportunities for stoma care nurses across the UK and Ireland.
