Pancy Jose is a dedicated nurse, passionate community advocate, and committed believer in the power of Speaking Up. Educated and trained in India before migrating to the United Kingdom in 2001, she brings a wealth of global nursing experience and has held senior roles within the NHS.

Beyond her professional life, Pancy’s love for travel, diverse cuisines, and animal advocacy reflects her compassion and curiosity about the world.

In 2024, she was honoured as a finalist for the Best Nurse of the Year Award by British Malayali UK, recognising her outstanding contributions to the South Asian community—a community she continues to serve with deep empathy and inclusivity. That same year, she received an award from the High Sheriff of Derbyshire for valuable community service and contributed her expertise as an Expert Advisory Group member for the NGO Speak Up Review.

Her active involvement in the Antiracism Strategy and promotion of cultural intelligence underscores her commitment to equity, respect, and support within healthcare.

In 2022, Pancy was recognised as a Highly Commendable Unsung Hero at the NHS Midlands MIDAS Awards, celebrating her dedication and service. She has also shared her insights and experiences as a speaker at regional and national conferences, including events organised by ASKeN, UUKMA, and Kerala Nurses UK.
