Nick Lipley has worked in healthcare publishing for more than 30 years, for the most part catering for the professional needs of practising nurses. He has a background in life sciences and journalism, and his current work at RCNi, the publishing arm of the Royal College of Nursing, focuses on commissioning and editing CPD articles so that nurse authors can effectively share evidence-based best practice. He has also been an editor of the RCNi specialist titles Emergency Nurse, Mental Health Practice and Nursing Management, and so has experience and expertise in commissioning, editing and publishing a wide variety of clinical content. Mr Lipley is currently exploring how to introduce different online-based media into more traditionally written educational content.
