Muriam Ahmed
Junior Sister, Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital
Muriam graduated from Birmingham City University in 2013 with a BSc (Hons) in Nursing (Child Branch) and began her nursing career on the renal unit at Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital.
In 2022, she was appointed as a Junior Sister within the Patient Safety Team, where her focus was on extravasation management and prevention. Muriam works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to review incidents, enhance clinical systems for staff, and drive system-wide innovations that promote safer, more effective care for patients and families.
