With a strong commitment to recognising the value and expertise of agency staff, she works closely with both individuals and organisations to integrate agency professionals effectively into contingency planning, while promoting best practices and employment rights.

An internationally educated nurse, Millie brings a wealth of clinical and corporate experience to her role. Her career spans neurorehabilitation at a leading centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, to orthopaedics and neurosurgery in London, England, as well as a tenure in the medical insurance sector. This diverse background fuels her passion for advocating for nurses and her career with the Royal College of Nursing reflects her deep commitment to empowering the nursing profession.
