Luke Evans

Luke Evans is an Assistant Delivery Manager for Health Equity at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where he supports teams to address health inequalities and embed equitable access, experience and outcomes within healthcare services.
A registered nurse since 2012, Luke holds a Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing and a Master's degree in Global Public Health. His career has spanned local government, international medical assistance, pharmaceuticals, health innovation networks and the NHS, giving him broad experience in population health and healthcare improvement.
Luke is a recognised advocate for reducing health inequalities and regularly speaks at regional and national conferences on health equity, population health and the role of healthcare professionals in creating more equitable systems.
He has contributed to national programmes focused on reducing inequalities, published in nursing journals, and supported organisations to translate health equity ambitions into practical action.
Alongside his professional role, Luke serves as Chair of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Public Health Forum Committee.
