Luke Evans
Chair of the RCN public health forum, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust
Luke qualified as a nurse in 2012 and has worked across a variety of health and social care sectors including; local government, international medical assistance, pharmaceuticals, health innovation networks and the NHS. Luke is currently the Chair of the RCN’s Public Health Forum
Luke currently works in Health Equity, and is working on building the intelligence, infrastructure, interventions and incentive within his trust to deliver services that provide equitable access, experiences and outcomes for their patients. He is passionate about addressing health inequalities and developing actionable and meaningful ways for frontline staff to get involved in identifying and addressing them.
He’s been published in the British Journal of Nursing and Primary Care Nursing journals. He has also worked on various public health initiatives such as Innovation for Health Inequalities Programme (InHIP) and performed a review of Health and Wellbeing roles within the NHS.
