Louise Bringloe was appointed to the role of Lead Nurse for Quality and Practice Development for Sheffield Teaching Hospitals 2019. Louise is both an adult and paediatric registered nurse who specialised in neonatal intensive care. Louise has over 30 years’ experience in the NHS
working in Nursing leadership roles both in acute and tertiary centres. Prior to, taking up the post of Lead Nurse for Quality and Practice Development, Louise held several governance roles including leading the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Maternity and Neonatal governance teams.Specific areas of interest and expertise include patient safety and outcomes, patient experience, governance, infection prevention and control and empowering nursing to improve quality of care.
