With over 23 years of nursing experience, Liz Hawes brings a wealth of clinical expertise and leadership to the field of research delivery. For the past 13 years, she has specialised in managing and delivering clinical research across a wide range of therapeutic areas, consistently championing high standards of care and evidence generation.

In the last three years, Liz has developed advanced skills in wound care, with a particular focus on venous leg ulcers (VLUs). Her hands-on involvement in clinical trials has deepened her understanding of complex wound management and reinforced her commitment to improving patient outcomes through research.

Liz now leads Clinical Research Solutions, a bespoke Contract Research Organisation (CRO) dedicated to supporting clinical evidence generation with a strong clinical and patient-centred approach. Under her leadership, the organisation partners with sponsors and sites to deliver high-quality, pragmatic research that bridges the gap between clinical practice and innovation.
