Kim Ball is Professional Lead for Primary Care at the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), where she provides strategic leadership and professional advice on issues affecting the primary care nursing workforce across the UK. With extensive experience in general practice nursing and primary care, Kim is passionate about supporting nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring the profession is equipped to meet the changing health needs of communities.

Kim works closely with nursing leaders, policymakers and healthcare organisations to influence policy, improve professional standards and champion the role of nursing in prevention, long-term condition management and the delivery of care closer to home. She has a particular interest in workforce development, patient safety, health inequalities and the shift towards preventative and community-based models of care.
