Kelly Bloor

Kelly is a Children’s Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurse working in primary care three days a week. She is also the project lead for the North Staffordshire GP Federation in collaboration with the Staffordshire Training Hub. Together, their focus is on developing a student nurse placement circuit across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.

Kelly is passionate about student nurse education and promoting primary care as a rewarding career path. The placement circuit she leads follows a hybrid model, combining educational sessions with primary care speaker days. The program also includes insight days with practitioners in various areas of primary care, as well as restorative clinical supervision.

A pilot of the placement circuit was completed in June and July 2025, with positive feedback from both students and healthcare providers. Kelly is now preparing for the next two student cohorts and working to expand the circuit into South Staffordshire.
