Clinical Research Fellow and Medical Science Liaison, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, Predictive Health Intelligence
Katie is a Clinical Research Fellow at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust working on the Somerset Liver Improvement Programme. She has clinical experience in both the NHS and Australian Healthcare system across a number of medical and surgical specialties, including Hepatology and Transplant.
Katie is also the Medical Science Liaison at Predictive Health Intelligence. Through this role, she supports the clinical engagement for the implementation of the case-finding tool hepatoSIGHT throughout the Southwest region. hepatoSIGHT is a system designed to help clinicians identify people at risk of liver disease based on patterns in existing laboratory data.
This project will improve early detection and proactive intervention for liver disease, with the goal of reducing late diagnoses and improving health outcomes.
