Jon is an Advanced Clinical/Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of NHS experience across acute, community, primary care and social care settings. He currently works across a range of frontline clinical, educational and leadership roles, including as an ACP within care and nursing home settings and in a GP practice, where he provides proactive care for housebound patients and manages acute presentations in primary care.

Jon has worked as an Independent Prescriber since 2020 and as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner since 2022. His previous roles include Lead Community Matron for a rapid response and virtual ward service, providing extensive experience in managing complex patients across community and acute care pathways.

In 2026, Jon co-founded JP Health Partners Limited, a healthcare company specialising in placing advanced practitioners within social care settings and delivering vaccination programmes, with a particular focus on housebound patients and care home residents. This builds on his experience as one of the first in-house ACPs and nurse prescribers working within a UK social care setting.

Alongside his clinical work, Jon is a university lecturer, teaching history taking, physical examination and diagnostic skills to trainee advanced practitioners. He is passionate about developing advanced clinical practice, improving patient outcomes and continuity of care, and exploring innovative approaches to healthcare delivery within social care settings.
