Jessica is an experienced Registered Adult Nurse specialising in public health, health improvement, and tackling health inequalities. She is the Professional Lead for Public Health at the Royal College of Nursing, where she leads the UK-wide public health nursing portfolio, influencing policy, practice, and professional development.

Jessica’s career spans clinical practice, public engagement, and leadership. After starting her career in Accident and Emergency, she then spent over a decade at the world's largest independent cancer research organisation where she delivered national cancer awareness initiatives, led community outreach programmes, and trained healthcare professionals in behaviour change and early diagnosis messaging. Her work has consistently focused on empowering individuals and communities to make informed changes to improve their health. In addition to her clinical and leadership roles, Jessica has held a public affairs position, building relationships with key stakeholders and influencing health policy.

Jessica is passionate about the power of public health interventions to drive meaningful change to populations and is committed to amplifying the voice of nursing in shaping healthier futures.
