Ayisa Jarrett and Jayna Mistry are Co-Chairs of the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) Anti-Racism Shared Decision-Making (SDM) Council. The Anti-Racism SDM Council is a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds who are passionate and committed to supporting the organisation to be an inclusive and anti-racist Trust.
Jayna Mistry is an award-winner Specialist Orthoptist, working as the Deputy Head Orthoptist, Lead Stroke Orthoptist and Biometry Services Manager at UHCW. She is an experienced allied healthcare professional (AHP) with an MBA and Master’s in Medical Science. She values teamwork, leadership, and mentorship. Jayna is also a strong advocate for ethnic minorities, currently representing BAME AHPs in the West Midlands, and promotes diversity and inclusion through her work with the council.
