Ivy Tsetse

Ivy Tsetse is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in the National Health Service (NHS) and currently serves as Matron for Nursing Education and Development at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. Originally educated as a nurse in West Africa, she brings a rich international perspective to healthcare leadership, workforce development, and nursing education.
Ivy holds an MSc in Advanced Practice (Non-Medical and Independent Prescribing) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCert), combining advanced clinical expertise with specialist knowledge in education, leadership, and workforce transformation. As a Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Learning Representative, she actively champions lifelong learning, professional development, and equitable access to educational opportunities for healthcare professionals.
Her expertise spans nursing education, leadership development, workforce transformation, educational governance, health promotion, and quality improvement. Throughout her career, she has led strategic initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, enhance professional practice, and support the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
Beyond her NHS leadership role, Ivy is actively involved in health education, communication, and community engagement through the Nightingale Nursing Association, faith-based organisations, ethnic minority networks, and community groups. She is committed to improving health literacy, promoting wellbeing, and addressing health inequalities within diverse communities.
