Dina Paoloni

Dina Paoloni is an internationally educated nurse, nurse leader, career coach, author and founder of Nurses Move®, an innovation dedicated to helping internationally educated nurses integrate, progress and thrive within healthcare systems.
With more than 23 years of nursing experience across Italy, US embassy and UK, Dina has worked in emergency, critical care, research and chronic pain services. She spent six years as a cardiothoracic ICU nurse at St Bartholomew’s Hospital and contributed to the team recognised with the SCTS as Best Cardiac Nursing and Allied Health Professional Team Award in 2021.
Dina is an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, NHS AI Ambassador, Healthcare Leadership Academy Global Leader and Mentor, and Regional Director for Europe at Nurses in Charge. She is also a CPD provider and the author of “The Awakened Nurse: A Transformative Career Journey of Self-Discovery Towards International Nursing Success.”
Through Nurses Move, Dina works at the intersection of international nurse integration, workforce retention, career development and multicultural team dynamics. Her work helps nurses move beyond survival mode, regain confidence, strengthen their visibility and a sustainable and purposeful Career Design.
She is developing the “Awakened Nurse Theory”, an emerging framework connecting professional self-awareness, cultural intelligence and transformative career growth. Her mission is to ensure internationally educated nurses are not treated simply as a solution to workforce shortages, but are recognised as professionals, future leaders and contributors to stronger healthcare teams.
Dina’s work has reached more than 10,000 nurses worldwide through education, coaching, community programmes, publications and digital platforms.
