Conor McGee is Chief Nursing Information Officer and Clinical Safety Officer at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. A registered nurse by background, he has worked across acute, community and mental health services. Through these experiences, he developed a strong interest in how digital innovation can improve outcomes for both individuals and populations.

He leads programmes spanning electronic prescribing, patient engagement technologies, clinical safety, artificial intelligence and the adoption of emerging technologies across health and care. Conor is involved in local, regional and national networks that support digital nursing practice, strengthen clinical safety standards and help ensure technology delivers meaningful benefits for patients and staff.

A qualified Professional Nurse Advocate, Conor supports staff to navigate the opportunities and challenges of delivering care in an increasingly digital environment. He is also a member of the NHS Responsible AI Champion programme, supporting the safe, ethical and effective adoption of artificial intelligence across healthcare.

Conor is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership at Imperial College London. He is passionate about the responsible use of AI in healthcare and believes nurses have a vital role in shaping digital transformation, ensuring innovation remains safe, person-centred and focused on enhancing the human aspects of care.
