Amanda Jackson is Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer and Digital Inclusion Lead at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. An Adult Nurse, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visitor) and Queen's Nurse, Amanda brings together clinical expertise, community insight and digital leadership to help shape more inclusive healthcare services.

Amanda is passionate about ensuring that digital transformation improves care without widening existing inequalities. Her work focuses on designing and implementing digital health solutions that are accessible, safe and centred on the needs of patients, families and communities. She has a particular interest in reducing digital exclusion and ensuring that people who may be at risk of being left behind are supported to access the benefits of digital healthcare.

Working closely with community partners, voluntary organisations, clinicians and local communities, Amanda has led initiatives that help people develop digital confidence and access health services online. Through community-based Digital Health Support Hubs and screening programmes across Leeds, she supports individuals to use tools such as the NHS App, access online services and build the skills needed to engage with increasingly digital healthcare systems. Her work is grounded in the belief that digital inclusion is about more than technology; it is about improving opportunities, reducing health inequalities and creating fair access to care.

Amanda is an active contributor to regional and national discussions on digital health, nursing leadership and improving health inequalities. At Nursing Live, she will share practical examples of how healthcare organisations can tackle digital exclusion, reduce the widening digital divide and ensure that technology enables better outcomes for everyone, regardless of their circumstances.
