Sarah Endicott
Senior practice learning facilitator, Leeds Teaching Hospitals
Sarah has been a Registered Nurse for over 28 years, working across England in a wide range of clinical settings. Her career began in critical care and has spanned multiple specialties, shaped by diverse roles and the continually evolving landscape of the NHS. This breadth of experience has given her a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of the challenges and realities of frontline care.
In 2012, Sarah transitioned into education as a clinical skills tutor. Since then, she has developed her career in practice education, progressing into senior clinical educator roles and, most recently, working as a Senior Practice Learning Facilitator. She is also a Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) and is currently training to become a counsellor.
Sarah is passionate about supporting people both educationally and pastorally. She believes that compassionate, individualised support is key to helping learners and colleagues thrive, especially in high-pressure and emotionally demanding environments. Her work is rooted in creating safe, inclusive spaces where others feel seen, valued, and confident to grow.
Throughout her career, Sarah has been committed to enabling others to develop through reflective practice, accessible learning, and meaningful pastoral support. Whether teaching in a classroom, supporting learners on placement, or offering a listening ear, she aims to bring a thoughtful presence and a genuine belief in people’s potential.
