Jessica Sainsbury
Associate, Curious Collaborators
Jess Sainsbury is a registered adult and mental health nurse, speaker, and advocate for students and early career professionals. She is an Associate of Curious Collaborators.
Jess is known nationally for her work on social media in nursing. She has created the A–E framework for professional and purposeful social media use, helping healthcare students and professionals to amplify their voice, build networks, and use online spaces with confidence and impact. She delivers teaching and workshops on this topic for universities, professional organisations, and healthcare leaders.
Her career has been defined by championing the student voice. As Chair of the Royal College of Nursing Students’ Committee during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jess represented over 80,000 students across the UK and worked with national media, policymakers, and senior leaders to ensure their experiences shaped decision-making. Since then, she has continued to design programmes, resources, and thought leadership projects that promote wellbeing, belonging, and shared decision-making across the professions.
Through her work with Curious Collaborators, Jess creates spaces that value creativity, connection, and co-production. She brings warmth and authenticity to her speaking, encouraging audiences to reflect, share, and reimagine what is possible for nursing and healthcare.
