Jane Briggs

Jane’s career began as a surgical nurse, where she worked across a range of specialties and discovered her passion for supporting student nurses in practice. This passion led her to become a Practice Education Facilitator (PEF), where she developed and implemented a Transition into Practice Programme for third-year student nurses to support their final placement and prepare them for registration. Supporting students through this programme strengthened her commitment to quality assurance in practice learning, which ultimately led her to Edge Hill University. In her current role, Jane’s key focus is on ensuring every student nurse has access to a supportive, positive, and high-quality learning experience.
