Desiree is a Management Development Consultant working within the NHS for the past 20 years and leads the National Preceptorship Programme for NHS England. She has been working as a CapitalNurse project manager with Health Education England for six years, overseeing the successful implementation of the CapitalNurse Preceptorship and Early Careers Framework.

Desiree has worked in professional development for more than twenty-five years as a qualified coach, facilitator and trainer. With a background working in IT in both London and Paris, Desiree works with staff of all levels, developing people to help them to achieve their potential. She delivers management and leadership training across the NHS in London, working with primary care, community and acute trusts. In addition to the Preceptorship project, Desiree was part of the development team and now delivers the Higher Development Award for Healthcare Assistants in London which won a Nursing Times Workforce Development Award in 2020.
